LIPODISSOLVE INJECTIONS
Lipodissolve injection is a non-surgical procedure used to inject phosphatidylcholin (lectin) substance into the subcutaneous tissue of thick body parts to slowly dissolve the fat tissue.
The procedure is done without anaesthesia and is totally painless. It can’t be expected that one treatment will be enough to solve the problem but it should be repeated in two months’ time. During that period the injected substance would be dissolving the fat tissue. Šikman dr. med. is the pioneer of that method in Slovenia.
The method is suitable for the patients with localized fat pads (chin, abdomen, hips, tights, buttocks, knees, calf, upper arm, etc.) and are not comfortable with a surgical procedure or cannot decide on it at the moment.
LIPOLYSIS POST-TREATMENT
After the treatment the patient can go home or to work. Swelling and bruises at the treated site could be present for 3 to 7 days after the treatment. Other problems are not expected.
LIPOLYSIS NOTE
Whether the patient is eligible for the procedure or if there are any risks could be assessed only after a check-up. Lesser complications which are of no consequence on the result, are rare. Serious complications are unusual.
